GOA

hey guys i m back with my travelogue again n dis time its Goa.One of d most loved n visited plc by all.This is d 2nd time i had been 2 goa n dis time it was with my frnds.It was a very different exp cz the grp i went with was a completely new one 4 me except vinay.It was a 5 day trip in which we spend 2 days in Honnemaradu camping out and enjoying 2 max n then next 3 days was in the beautiful beaches in Goa....One can never get satisfied when he visits this place how many ever days we spend, Its an endless journey.RIght guys ???


@ Goa we stayed near to Calungutte
beach which was just a step away from our plc of stay.We were 8 of us n had booked a 1 bed room apt from MR . Peter who was very helpful and its also a good place with all facilities at our reach.
We spent most of the time on the beach listening to the roaring of the waves, walking down d beach with no destination,playing in d sand, singing, dancing n wot not ? Visited aguada fort the famous Dil chahatha hai scene n took lot of photos in diff poses which was again an exciting event. Lots of shopping , water sports like parasailing , jet skiing and swimming in those endless beaches, Terrific it was and guess what we never felt like packing our bags n i know no one would want 2 come back from such a beautiful place ..but we missed many of them on dis trip esp Tarun , mayb if he had come it would still be best trip like always.Happy 2 find a new set of frnds from dis trip n all thanks 2 vinay 4 making this trip a succesfull one. Hey vinay we should definitely keep planning such trips more often .. Best memories are photos which gets us nostalgic abt our happy times :)

Honnemaradu

I love traveling and Honnemaradu is one of the beautiful places i have been to ..The forest like environment , Thick trees ,Water & greenary everywhere..Wah ! what a sight it was...truely mindblowing ..As soon as we reached Honne we had delicious food&got ready to trek.We were around 30 of us and our guide explained us abt the places and whats all activities were organised.It was so peacefull out there, totally a diff world for sure
with no mobile phones and no tension for anything.Its just u and nature...

After the trek we had our lunch n put on our life jackets and got ready for a swim in that beautiful lake which was 200ft deep and cant imagine without the lifeguards if u dont know swimming.We were trained in rafting and had to reach an island as a challenge but we poor gals had no strength to raft the boat even a few steps.For the night we were given a choice of rafting till the island and spend a night there or trek up the hill and stay there.Obviously we chose the 1st opt & we packed our bags 2 leave to the island.

By late evening b4 the sun set we reached the island and we started looking out 4 wood 2 light the fire and pitched our tents,when all set we played antakshari and had our dinner in the moonlight..It was one of the beautiful night's i had exp'd in my life..sleeping on ground facing the sky, watching the stars & wonderful moon light and the sound of the waterfalls a little distance away....

One of the Beautiful adventourous trip to experience and I m looking fwd to go there again in March with my friends ...it wud b so much fun ...yippie...

Manali - Dream Place

Me and my sweetie sis put a lot of effort to make this trip and it was a grand success and it is one of the exciting trip in my life, from pleading our boss to grant leave till getting back and narrating stories to all it was a wonderful journey.
day 1 : Journey started on 21st march 2008 from Bangalore to Delhi and then roaming around in Delhi for a day visiting out favorite places ( Delhi haat , India gate etc ) , departure from Delhi to Manali on road in a sleeper bus with a roller coast ride through out the night as we slept as if we were in a cradle. unfortunately bus broke down and in a peak time waking up to take another transport to reach the destination, got into a village bus and eating aloo parota with yummie pickles ... reaching the destination some 6-7 hours late n checkin in the beautiful hotel Snow valley resorts ( our place of stay ) with the mind blowing scenic surrounding the place which took our breathe away..
Visiting Hadima temple, dressing in those traditional outfits of Himachal , capturing the beautiful snow capped mountains and freezing in that cold ,having hot tea n some pakodas.

day 2 : we went for a paragliding & went to Solang valley with those costumes which keeps us warm in that cold , skiing , playing in snow n posing for the photos as if we are getting a port polio ready also posing on the bikes as if we are riding those in real :P and enjoying the drink and munching on some lays & wafers and getting lost in our own world .

day 3 : shopping heavily for family & friends and enjoying the scenic beauty of Beas river for almost half a day and finally packing our bags for the return journey back 2 delhi n for the last time smelling the greenary and feeling the silence in that place with soothing music in our ipods

day 4 : back 2 Delhi and traveling in a metro to airport n then back 2 blore binding all the memories in our cameras which last for ever.
